Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight
Glide, grapple, and drive through an open LEGO Gotham—then wallop Joker with a combo that would make Arkham proud.
Best LEGO Batman yet if you can stomach Denuvo DRM and repetitive catwoman collectibles.
For you if
- You love Batman lore from comics, movies, and animated series
- You enjoyed Platinum-ing previous LEGO games
- You have high tolerance for Denuvo server checks
Not for you if
- You're allergic to any modern DRM that requires online auth
- You loathe collectible hunting with no map markers
- You expect deep combat over the usual LEGO beat-em-up
Celebration of Batman's entire history is the hook 100-hour fans rave about, with the Arkham Asylum level as the standout.
Collectible repetition in Catwoman side missions is the friction even platinum chasers flag, alongside Denuvo launch failures.

What critics say
- 4/5Eurogamer
An endless parade of references and gags that's difficult to resist.
- 8/10IGN
A strong open-world Gotham and trademark Lego slapstick humour powers a fantastic plastic parody of Batman’s greatest hits.
- 8/10GameSpot
It's still simple, but not quite as simple, it's bursting with even more secrets, and it's another playful take on a mythology that I love. It's the most fun I've had with a Lego game since 2005, and a template for how Lego games can rebuild into something greater, piece by piece.

LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight supports local split-screen co-op for two players, making it a blast with a friend on the couch. What should I know before starting Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight?
Avoid the hardest difficulty option on your first playthrough—it adds frustration without extra rewards. Explore Gotham's open world early to collect studs and unlock character tokens for permanent upgrades. Spend studs on the Red Brick multipliers as soon as possible to accelerate progression.
