What players love

Long-haul pilots credit the ship builder and the mod scene with carrying exploration well past what the vanilla planets offer.

"Don't listen to the hate. It's genuinely a lot of fun, and it has a great modding community."

"Though some have complained about the games heavy use of ai generated content and too many often repeated locations, Starfield does have a few good points. The exploration isn't boring and along with both dlc is improved. Add in a few mods out there and the exploration can be improved substantially"

"I am playing on an older laptop, so I consider myself lucky my system meets the requirements. That being said, I do really enjoy this game. The ever increasing amount of mods for it, helps keep it interesting as well."

What frustrates them

Reviewers with four-figure hour counts say the handcrafted content thins out fast and repeated points of interest turn planet-scanning into filler.

"Installed some of there recent recommended and paid creations and the game is so unstable now that I literally can't space travel anywhere w/o it crashing. So wild I paid for pushed mods that made the game unplayable, really a terrible feeling."

"It still sucks. Shame on Bethesda for still not improving the game to a decent degree."

"The game has an endless list of flaws right after its release. And the list is largely intact now. They didn't even improve the weapon balance."
