"the real horrors of this game is hoping that it won't crash before you have the opportunity to save"

"I enjoyed. Although a little tedious at times I thought the overall vibe, story, and gameplay was spooky and compelling enough to keep me coming back. I did get the bad ending but I do seem to have a great way of doing that in the silent hill games. 😌"

"Im using a 2060 and I'm not having any of the issues people are talkin about, this is way different than any other SH. It's more like alien isolation but with silent hills psychological horror and atmosphere. I'll give it 8/10 give it a shot."

What frustrates them
The Weight enemy and instant-death stalker grabs are the pattern long-haul players flag, with barebones stealth amplifying frustration near midpoint.

"Good game, but not a very good Silent Hill game. It kind of gives me more Resident Evil vibes than Silent Hill vibes. Other than that, the game is really pretty, and the story seems interesting so far. The sneaking and slow movement are kind of annoying, though."

"You pay $10 extra for "early access" to a jittery engine that crashes every 20 minutes. You're not fighting against the enemies in this Silent Hill, you're praying you can get to the next save station before the game gives up on you. Insane that this is the condition companies put games out in."

"Normally I wont leave a negative review straight away but the stuttering is bad im not even 15 mins into the game and the stuttering is bad despite the game having a shader comp at the start (although fast)"
