"I know lot of peoples struggling with the early difficulty, but once you got a few tips and start to play properly, god this game is amazing. Evrything is so well optimised. Amazing game"

"A fantastic soulslike with its own identity. Some small bugs mostly on the geometry, but a fantastic experience so far. Reminds me of ther older souls games, few 'bonfires', enemies hit like a truck, a real sense of scary exploration."

"Suprisingly fun and gorgeous game. The combat and dungeon varieties are really well thought out and some of the most satisfying and gritty finishers. It improved the first game in all aspects and ofcourse it is well optimize and runs well. Probably the most optimized UE5 game imo."

What frustrates them
Runbacks without dungeon checkpoints and unreactable one-shot attacks are the consistent annoyances for long-haul players.

"They saw every great QOL from the other games in this niche and said lets not do that. If i could refund it I would, but I kept trying to push thro. maybe in 6months when they add the QOL updates every other game has."

"After around 8 hours, I am disappointed with Mortal Shell 2. The map and overall world design were the biggest problems for me. Instead of feeling like an interesting world I wanted to explore, it often felt like a confusing maze that I was simply trying to find my way through."

"There’s a really good game here buried under poor enemy design and balance. Also just some bizarre choices like no stake of Marika equivalent for dungeons which results in super frustrating runbacks. My rec would be to give it a couple weeks or a month and see if they fix it."
